Hello and welcome to my website!
My name is Chris and I live in Yorkshire. I've always been a very computer-techy kind of guy with an interest in just about anything, and recently I decided to turn my interests to photography.
I'm not entirely sure why either - I've always loved to take photos - but a few months ago I was sat on the train travelling in to work and the person sat across from me had a camera and detachable lens which they were just playing with. I think in the back of my mind I must have been thinking about a photography hobby, because I just started thinking maybe photography is something I should do!
Of course, photography can be an expensive pursuit, so I'm also doing it on a bit of a budget. But that also makes it quite an exciting challenge - can learning to be a professional photographer be achieved without needing a load of very expensive kit?
I think it can - and all of the things I have acquired so far are second hand and a little bit older, but I'm very happy with the results so far.
But for now, it's early days on this venture and I've still got a lot to learn. I'm not quitting my day job or trying to set up a business, I'm just out to appreciate and share the beauty of things I see in the world round about.
